Celebrating 150 Years!

Indian Lake Baptist Church is celebrating 150 years this summer.

Founded by Swedish immigrants in 1873, this rural church situated between Worthington and Round Lake has grown to include believers representing a wide array of cultures. Today our Bible-based congregation consists of two distinct groups worshiping together, with one sermon provided in English and another in Karen.

We feel called to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. When you visit ILBC, you’ll find friendly people who love the Lord, love each other, and are excited to praise God for His sustaining love through a century and a half of the preaching of The Word.

Our church is located five miles south of the Worthington Cemetery (traveling on Read Ave.), then one mile east (on 310th St.) toward Round Lake. You’ll see us on your right.
