Hello
We understand that first visits can sometimes be uncomfortable, but we want you to feel welcome and at home when you join us on a Sunday, so we’ve attempted to answer a few common questions. Here’s what you can expect on Sundays.
When should I arrive?
Our Sunday Morning Worship Service begins at 10:30am. During the school year we invite you to arrive at 9:15 for our adult Sunday School followed by a coffee and snack fellowship where you can meet some of our members.
Where should I go?
Our services are held at 31141 Roberts Avenue (click here for directions). There’s plenty of parking and we have wheelchair access into the sanctuary if needed. Every Sunday, greeters will be standing by to help guide you.
What should I wear?
You’ll find that our congregation is a mix of Sunday formal, casual and Karen traditional clothing. We’re a church for people from all walks of life. Please wear whatever is most comfortable for you.
What happens at the Morning Worship Service?
Every Sunday, for about an hour, we sing together, pray for the needs of the church and its missionaries, and hear the Bible preached. We partake in communion on the first Sunday of the month. Also, we have special music sung by the choir or by one of the many Karen groups.
Do you have childcare during services?
We currently do not have a staffed nursery for toddlers but do have a dedicated room for mothers to take their babies.
